national initiative furthers the Department mission by improving the criminal justice system; enhancing law enforcement safety, wellness, resilience, and survivability; and providing support to efforts including training and technical assistance programs strategically targeted to address law enforcement safety and wellness needs.

Each Award recipient must be a U.S.-based not-for-profit institution or organization.

For the purpose of this solicitation, not-for-profit organizations include universities and state and local governments.

Eligible applicants may be consortia of non-profit institutions.

Existing MEP manufacturing extension centers are eligible.
