Alabama Department of Corrections Thinking for a Change Implementation Project

The project is the Alabama DOC T4C Implementation Initiative.

The Scope of Work for this initiative includes the ongoing implementation of the cognitive behavioral program, Thinking for a Change within the Alabama DOC.

The awardee will provide technical assistance, guidance and support

credit:


to Alabama DOC personnel in the continued development and application of a plan that includes the core components of active implementation as it applies to Thinking for a Change.

The anticipated deliverables for this project are:
• Provide continued support and coaching to the internal implementation team and trained T4C facilitators • Build capacity for internal agency coaching and fidelity observation tool • Insure Knowledge Transfer • Develop a framework of potential performance measures to determine impact and track agency implementation progress

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS - This announcement is to provide notice of the National Institute of Corrections intention to fund the following project activities without without full and open competition.

NIC invites applications from nonprofit organizations (including faith-based, community, and tribal organizations), for-profit organizations (including tribal for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education).

Recipients, including for-profit organizations, must agree to waive any profit or fee for services.

NIC welcomes applications that involve two or more entities; however, one eligible entity must be the applicant and the others must be proposed as sub-recipients.

The applicant must be the entity with primary responsibility for administering the funding and managing the entire program.
