Delta Smelt Refuge Population and Culture Facility Renovation and Expansion

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to University of California, Davis under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(1) and 3407(e).

amount of agreement is $5,895,79 2. 0 0. Reclamation is providing $5,895,79 2. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 6. The objectives of the project are to:
Objective #1:
Complete the expanded refugial facility Objective #2:
Build a new rearing facility Objective #3:
Build a new research facility (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No.

BOR-MP-16-N027 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
