Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Great Rivers CESU

The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner to conduct research on ⿿A revised spill calculator for estimating effects of misapplications of fire retardant⿝.

The objectives of this research are:
1. to develop a spill

calculator based on the advection-dispersion model, 2. to apply the current spill calculator and proposed spill calculator to 4-8 field events provided by the US Forest Service (USFS), and 3. to apply the current spill calculator and proposed spill calculator to at least one event for which dye study are available.
