Oak Regeneration in Great Smoky Mountains National Park
This project is to improve understanding of the response of the regeneration of oak species, after the Chimney Tops 2 Fire of November, 2016, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (the Park) and the roll of fire in this forest community.

The United States Department of the Interior, The National Park Service (NPS), The National Park Service is announcing a notice of intent to award a cooperative agreement; this is a request for applications.
This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS's intention to fund the following project activities with limited open competition, with The University of Tennessee for determining the drivers of Oak Regeneration in Great Smoky Mountains National Park after Fire events.
