Visitation to Grand Canyon National Park (GRCA) has grown dramatically in recent years, increasing from 4. 39 million visits in 2010 to 6. 2 million visits in 201 7. The purpose of the needs assessment is to gather park staff perspectives on management issues associated with visitor day use and

information needs for visitor use management planning, identify gaps in existing information needed to inform visitor use management planning, and summarize available social science information related to visitor use in GRCA.
