The purpose of the K01 grant program is to provide support and dedicated time for a supervised (mentored) career development experience in occupational safety and health research, leading to research independence.
This grant program also is to help ensure the availability of adequate numbers of
highly trained scientists and educators to address critical issues in occupational safety and health.
