This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will accept applications for competing renewal or competitive revisions of ongoing clinical trials supported by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR).

will be supported when there is need for additional time to complete the trial or when an extended period of follow-up is well justified to assess longer term outcomes.

Competitive revisions will be supported when there is compelling justification for modifying the scope of the ongoing clinical trial.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate Scientific/Research contact for the ongoing clinical trial for which they are planning a competing renewal or competitive revision prior to submitting an application to this FOA.
