FY 2016 Notice of Funding Opportunity for NGO Programs Benefiting Individuals At Risk of Statelessness in the Dominican Republic

Proposed activities should primarily support individuals at risk of statelessness in the Dominican Republic who are entitled to citizenship documents under law 169 (Group A).

Proposals must focus on assisting Group A individuals and their descendants obtain their civil documents following an audit

credit:


by the Junta Central Electoral (JCE) in accordance with law 16 9. While assistance may include individual-level advice, the most favorably viewed proposals will seek to assist as many people as possible.

The type of assistance may include, but is not limited to, an information campaign, covering transportation costs, legal advice, and assisting appeals with the JCE.
