Limited Competition: Continuation of the Preventing Early Renal Loss in Diabetes (PERL) Study (UC4)

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to complete treatment of the participants recruited into the Preventing Early Renal Loss in Diabetes (PERL) Study and to analyze the outcomes of the trial.

PERL is a randomized, double-blind trial to test whether the medication, allopurinol,

This FOA is a limited competition for the continuation of the PERL study, which was previously funded under RFA-DK-12-511.

Only the currently funded Clinical Research Center (CRC) is eligible to apply.

Only the currently funded Biostatistics Research Center (BRC) and clinical sites are eligible to be subcontracts to the CRC.
