Construction upgrades for Greater Egg Harbor Regional and Tuckerton school districts

A state grant was given by the N.J. Schools Development Authority to Greater Egg Harbor Regional and Tuckerton school districts. The grant in the amount of $8.1 million will be used for construction upgrades of the schools which includes replacing the roof as well as fire alarms at Oakcrest High School while rooftop HVAC replacement, partial roof replacement as well as a fire alarm for Absegami High School. The Schools Development Authority grant program support its state’s objectives by providing funding in order to address healthy and safety issues, student overcrowding or other critical needs.
