Government Grants Roll Out to Housing Programs

Two area housing programs will be receiving government grants to help residents become independent and self-sufficient.


The funding is part of the Resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency Public Housing Family Self-Sufficiency Program and the Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program. The grant will go towards education programs that help residents earn better jobs, move off welfare, and become financially independent.
