MacArthur Airport Wins Half-Million-Dollar Grant

The Long Island MacArthur Airport receives a $500,000 grant from the Empire State Development.


The grants will be used to fund the construction of a four-lane access road to house a new aircraft control tower and traffic control system at the Ronkonkoma hub. The grants are part of the $59.7 million in state funding to support infrastructure projects on Long Island.
