State Awards Funding for Virginia School Resource Officers

Governor Bob McDonnell announces a new state grant that will provide financial assistance to employ more local school resource officers in order to boost campus security.


The officers will be stationed in 42 elementary, middle and high schools that don't have school resource officers at present. The new funding will be distributed across various communities, cities and counties in Virginia.
