State Grant Awarded to Workforce Training Fund

The state has awarded the Workforce Training Fund General Grant Program a total of $5.7 million in grants to train current and newly hired or existing employees. If a company pays unemployment taxes, it is eligible to participate in the programs.


The program will use the grants for up to two years. Five local businesses across Massachusetts also shared a part of the government funding.
