Women In Need Obtains $500,000 State Grant

The Women In Need shelter and advocacy center for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault has been provided a $500,000 state grant to continue its advocacy of helping women and children through its new $3.5 million facility.


The money was awarded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, which funds regional economic, cultural, civic and historical improvement projects under the Governor's Office of the Budget.
