Applicants may choose to apply for component 1 only, component 2 only, or both.

Under component 1, the recipient will implement priority strategies such as providing technical assistance and capacity building resources for states, conducting state oral health program assessments, and conducting assessments and providing technical assistance to territorial oral health programs.

Note:
Funds for the assessment and technical assistance strategy for territorial oral health programs are available ONLY for year 1 of the period of performance.

Funds for State oral health infrastructure and capacity building are available for each year of the period of performance.

Under component 2, the recipient will work with five programs selected under NOFO DP18-1810 to implement medical-dental integration activities that integrate oral health with other chronic disease programs.
