National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI)
The purpose of this grant program is to provide funding to test untested sexual assault kits, prevent sexual assaults, and improve the criminal justice system's response to sexual assaults.

Eligible applicants for Purpose Area 1 are state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies (as recognized by the Secretary of the Interior), prosecutor’s offices, or a governmental non-law enforcement agency acting as fiscal agent for the applicant.Eligible applicants for Purpose Area 2 are limited to the lead applicant entities that received award funding under the FY 2015 SAKI Competitive Grant Announcement.
