The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(1) and 3407(e).
Estimated total amount of agreement is $5,628,13 3. 0 0. Reclamation is providing $600,00 0. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 6. The objectives of the project are to:
Objective #1:
Estimate adult escapement of Sacramento River winter-run Chinook Salmon.
Objective #2:
Estimate adult escapement of Central Valley spring-run Chinook Salmon in Deer, Antelope, and Mill creeks.
Objective #3:
Estimate adult escapement of fall-run Chinook Salmon in the mainstem Sacramento River, American River, Clear, Mill, Deer, Battle, Cow, Cottonwood, and Bear creeks.
Objective #4:
Determine the effectiveness of salmonid spawning and rearing habitat restoration/improvement projects at meeting project goals.
