San Joaquin River Restoration Program Seepage Projects

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to Central California Irrigation District under the authority of Catalog for Domestic Financial Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 555, San Joaquin River Restoration Program (SJRRP), Public Law 111-11, San Joaquin River Restoration

Settlement, Title X, Part I; Section 10002, Section 10004(b)(2); and Section 10004(d).

Estimated total amount of agreement is $6,258,14 9. 20, with Reclamation providing $6,258,14 9. 20 for Fiscal Year 201 4. The purpose of this project is to evaluate a potentially impacted parcel and determine the appropriate measures to convey flows without causing material adverse impacts The objectives of the project are to:
1) Prevent river flows from seeping into adjacent lands, 2) Augment the in-stream flows, and 3) Provide water supply to adjacent crops.

R14AN20022 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14(B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
