A Call to Amend State Grant Formula for Working Part-Time Students

Alexandra Griffin, Winona State University Student Senate president, calls for treating working part-time students equally.


She writes that the state grant formula should be adjusted to pro-rate awards for working part-time students to match enrollment levels. She urges the state to increase support for all working part-time students in part of Gov. Dayton's reform investment to higher education.
