Killeen-based Nonprofit Organizations Awarded with Almost $300,000 Worth of Grants

The Texas Veterans Commission awarded Killeen-based nonprofit communities in Schools of Greeater Central Texas with grants that amount to almost $300,000.


The grant money will be used to support children of veterans and active-duty service members. The money is actually part of more than $2.3 million grants awarded to 11 government and nonprofit organizations.
