Pain Management Evidence-Based Guideline

This project will assist a national organization representing EMS medical directors to develop an EBG and model EMS treatment protocol for the pharmacologic management of acute pain by EMS in the prehospital setting.

A manuscript describing the EBG and the methodology used to develop it will be

credit:


written for submission to a scientific journal such as Prehospital Emergency Care.

These tools will be used by EMS medical directors to improve patient care.

S. Territory or Possession; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U. S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.

Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.
