AAHC grants can fund both new and ongoing museum activities and programs.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Museums that fulfill the eligibility criteria for museums may apply.

Eligible applicants include museums whose primary purpose is African American life, art, history, and/or culture, encompassing: the period of slavery; the era of Reconstruction; the Harlem renaissance; the civil rights movement; and other periods of the African American diaspora.

Nonprofit organizations whose primary purpose is to support museums identified above may also apply.

Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCUs) are also eligible.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
